Supermicro supplies server hardware, storage systems and GPU platforms for data centre, edge and high-performance computing applications. Its modular approach allows for customisation to specific requirements: in many cases, motherboards, chassis and cooling systems can be combined individually. Serverplatforms: X Series, A+ Series and H Series
Supermicro offers server platforms for Intel Xeon (X-series) and AMD EPYC (A+-series). AMD EPYC is suitable for workloads that benefit from higher core counts and greater memory bandwidth per CPU socket.
The H Series is Supermicro’s integrated hyperconverged range, combining compute and storage in a single system. For data centre fabrics that also run open networking software such as SONiC, Supermicro supplies the underlying compute hardware.
GPU platforms for AI and high-performance computing
Supermicro supplies specialised systems for GPU computing, designed for NVIDIA H100, H200 and A100 accelerators and AMD Instinct GPUs. Cooling is a critical factor: in addition to air-cooled configurations, Supermicro supplies systems with direct liquid cooling (DLC) for environments where the heat dissipation provided by air cooling is insufficient.
